During the regular activities held by the police officers in Baku, Javid Mammadov, Almas Aflan and Aziz Maharramov, previously convicted of drug trafficking, were detained.
More than 15 kg of marijuana was found in the possession of J. Mammadov. During a bodily search of A. Aflan and A. Maharramov, as well as during a search of the latter's car, about 3 kilograms of marijuana was found. All 3 detainees were involved in drug trafficking by an Iranian citizen, whose identity is examined by the investigation. Measures aimed at apprehending other members of the drug network are continuing.
