Use of window shades and window blinds expires

The permit given to motor vehicle owners and drivers in the territory of the Republic for the use of window shades and window blinds (cover restricting visibility and transparency) expires on November 15.

Light-emitting ability of other windows (rear side windows) of vehicles which are not against the wind was determined to be not less than 70 percent in accordance with the relevant changes made to the state standard “AZS 122-2004” on “Safety Glass for Ground Vehicles, General Specifications” of the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Taking into consideration the climatic conditions of the Republic of Azerbaijan, from May 1 to November 15 of every year, window blinds made by industrial method have been permitted to be used on those windows.

Permitted use of the mentioned window blinds expires on November 15. From this date on, drivers will be fined in the amount of 150 manats according to the requirement of the relevant article of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the use of window blinds or other equipments restricting visibility on the rear side windows of cars.
In the field of road traffic safety, if the drivers of the vehicles which multiphase sound signals, loud mufflers, flashing lights, curtains, films and other additional equipments prohibited by law are installed in, and which have unpaid penalties are found, the requirements stipulated by law will be met.

Appropriate measures are continued to be taken by keeping the exemplary organization and conduction of the service, the observance of the rule of law in the capital under the control.
