During the terrible fire that took place in Baku, the eyes full of hope turned to the bodies of internal affairs and emergency situations undertaken the rescue mission, they are waiting for help. Among yelling "help", "save us" coming from the flames and smoke could be seen that they carried out the rescue mission. Service of the employees, who have taken on this sacred mission in the flats on fire, was so selfless and necessary...

Among this horror the image of rescuers again revived society. Running out of the fire with the child in arms, bear on the back the injured, that person is also the son of the people, citizen of this country. The pride and comfort in this horror was the dedication of sons and daughters of our motherland. This assistance was provided to the citizens of the people and by the people.

In connection with the happened fire, at the meeting of the State Commission, the President Ilham Aliyev said that during the incident all state structures have shown great dedication: "Health care workers, ambulance staff, lifeguards, and police officers showed a high level of professionalism, dedication and heroism. Dozens of people were evacuated from the building, were saved. I want to express my deep appreciation to all who participated in the rescue operations."

There is one truth: we have to rely, to believe!

Among the horror not only law-abiding citizens called rescuers. But some people did not have a sense of justice, and perhaps the courage to admit it. Replicable situation creates so much pain, that the tragedy of the people turns into a political tool. One truth has been forgotten, despite the fact that the work of the police and rescuers is monitored, one view dominated in a society: the rescuers are loyal to the state, the people and the duty. Not leaving in the extreme situation the people in need of assistance, especially women and children, the elderly, sick and disabled people, rescue workers selflessly fulfil this mission.

These qualities are so profound implications for our society that when there is a dangerous event first thing that comes to mind is the police, the police is the first thing to be looked for, waited for. In this case, the police obey the law and act in accordance with the law. There are traditions that bear the main goal for the society and the state. We can say that the police, operating priorities, such as the protection of people, is the first shield on the way of law, showing heroism and selflessness. These traditions create such feelings as patriotism, self-sacrifice, heroism and invincibility, reinforcing a sense of faith in the performance of tasks that have befallen the man, and forming personal qualities.

Why the police officer should be bold, courageous and decisive? Because to save lives and health of other people is one of the main tasks of the police, and the public has faith and trust in the power protecting it. Carriers of this very serious and responsible, at the same time, dangerous profession are the support and hope for people in all societies. In the police force, having an effective mechanism to monitor the management and organizational activities, each employee has an obligation in the face of regulatory and legal requirements. Because depending on the staff discipline of the professional implementation of the protection order for continued maintenance of law in the country, not underestimating the role of other areas of human rights, we can say that the Azerbaijani police maintain and protect these traditions. This is not an ordinary habit, since it is based on the successful implementation of innovative reforms in the police force.

Given that stability is the main condition for the development of any country, for the sake of this purpose Azerbaijani police performs the tasks assigned to it, with high professionalism. Perhaps for some it is a normal, natural phenomenon. However, the reality shows that the police officer, who is the state representative standing guard over the interests of citizens, does not regret his/her life on the way. This is the way of the state and humanity.
