Police agencies, which began functioning on July 2, 1918 with law enforcement agencies, have gained a great deal of experience in the past by going through an honorable service path and become a one of statehood support under the leadership of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
Today Azerbaijani Police is an important state institution with important services and strong discipline in the protection of the territorial integrity of our republic, the constitutional order of the state.
Police agencies having all the necessary conditions, modern logistics and infrastructure for the effective performance of official duties and constantly improving their performance thanks to the special attention and care of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, achieved significant results on the fight against crime, its transnational organized forms, protection of law and order, protection of human rights and freedoms. They have decently performed their duties to ensure martial law during the Patriotic War and now serve in the liberated territories, as well as resolutely carry out control functions of the special quarantine regime.
Recognition of state awards by the President for outstanding employees is clear expression of the great value that His Excellency attaches to the work of the Azerbaijani police as a whole.
I am sure that You will stand resolutely as a guardian of stability and security and get new achievements with your professionalism and your loyal service to the people and the Motherland. I heartily congratulate You and family members of our employees who died in the line of duty on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the Azerbaijani police, and wish good health, happiness, success in service and personal life!
