Azerbaijan is represented at the 20th European Police Congress

The opening of the 20th European Police Congress was held on February 21 in Berlin.

This year the topic of the European Police Congress, which is considered a major European conference on internal security, is "Europe - boundless? Liberty, mobility, security".

During the panels, held within the conference, which will last for two days, the following issues will be discussed: terrorism, organized crime, cross-border security, forensics, digital platform for successful police activity, surveillance in public places.

The annually held conference is attended by interior ministers of various countries, representatives of the European Union, the heads of the police and border security agencies, representatives of private companies operating in the field of security.
 
20th European Police Congress was opened by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Thomas de Maiziere and European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan Ramil Usubov and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Federal Republic of Germany Ramin Hasanov.
