42th Police station of Sabunchu district Police Department received information on the operation related to the hiding firearms and ammunition by the resident of Nardaran settlement Aliasgar Jabbarov in his own house. As a result of the operational-search actions conducted by the PS officers, A. Jabbarov was detained. During the inspection of the premise, which is not used in the courtyard of his house, a threaded “Carbine” riffle which of barrel and butt were cut, "RGD-5" hand grenade and bayonet knife of “AK-74" submachine gun hidden there were found and taken.

Relevant operational-search actions were conducted by officers of 14th police station of Sabunchu district Police Department.
As a result of the measures taken based on the received operational information, a resident of Mashtagha settlement Sahib Aliyev who was previously convicted many times was arrested as a suspect in Albalilig residential area. While inspecting him, “Kalashnikov" submachine gun of erased number, hidden under his jacket was seized. 

The detainee said that he has hidden the submachine gun in the courtyard of one of the uninhabited country houses in Albalilig residential area under the ground for a while. However, he was arrested by the police officers when he tried to take out the hidden firearm to his house.

As a result of the operational-search actions conducted by the officers of Main Transportation Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a person carrying an illegal firearm on himself was detained. Main Department received operational information on carrying a firearm by a resident of Sumgait city, who has previously been convicted, Rasim Najafov in one of the wagons of Gazakh-Baku train. As a result of the operational actions conducted by the officers of MTPD Criminal Investigation Department, R.Najafov was detained in Baku Railway Station.  While inspecting him, a “Makarov” pistol and 5 chargers for cartridge inside of it was found and taken.

In connection with three facts, criminal cases were launched in accordance with relevant articles of Criminal Code and necessary investigation and operational search actions are being continued.
