One of the main principles in the activity of police bodies is provision of service to citizens and the sensitivity to the applications of citizens. The goal of a policeman who dedicates his life to this altruistic profession is the protection of public order and stability.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Baku city Main Police Department receive a lot of letters of acknowledgement related to the reception of citizens and hearing their applications. It undoubtedly confirms high level of relationship between policeman and citizen, and is of great importance for us. Pursuant to the sent letters, each application of citizens sent to them has been duly solved. More specifically, these letters cover the activity of police and state that policemen have responsive approach towards the application of citizens, solve their problems, and ensure civil rights. Since it is impossible to publish all of the letters addressed to the police, we should be satisfied with some of them. However, in order to prove that our opinions about mutual relations are not fruitless, we will try to pay special attention to the application of citizens as required.

First letter is sent by Ismayilov Aslan Yesaul, the Deputy Director of Headquarter of Azerbaijan Cossacks Union. He expressed his gratitude and satisfaction on the activity of the police for disclosing the robbery happened in Christian Cemetery in Balakhani settlement in a short time.

Moreover, Susana Sharifova, the resident of Nasimi district, conveyed her thanks to the police in her letter addressed to the Minister for the settlement of family dispute. She wrote: "Dear Mr. Minister! After sending an application to you regarding the problems in my family, the personnel of Nasimi District Police Department considered my application and duly paid attention. My family issues have been settled. So, I am very thankful for this".
 
Another letter was received from Alkhan Mammadov, resident of Sabunchu district. He wrote that his cattle were stolen on March 31 in Mashtagha settlement and he appealed to the14th Police Department on this case: "Policemen arrested the persons accused of committing this crime and provided the return of stolen cow to me in a short time. Professionalism and responsiveness of policemen performing successful operation made me happy".

Nahid Nasirov from Khazar district expressed his satisfaction of performance by Investigation Section in Sabunchu District Police Department and wrote that
he appealed in relation with misappropriation of his 1762 manats by Yashar Baghirov. His petition was investigated by the Investigation Section and damage was fully paid in a very short time. Hence, he thanked to Mr. Minister and personnel of district police department and wished success in their work.
 
Next letter was addressed by Elnara Aliyeva, resident of Zabrat settlement, Sabunchu district to the management of MIA. She stated in the letter that her domestic problems were comprehensively investigated by the Baku city Main Police Department. Citizen highlighted that her appeal was investigated and settled by Police-Colonel Ali Valiyev, Senior Deputy Chief of Main Department on coordination of personnel and Police Lieutenant-Colonel Fuad Dadashov, the executive assistant.
 
Furthermore, we should note that Nina Ibrahimova, resident of Narimanov district, expressed gratitude for investigation and completion of her case on the criminal matter by the Baku city Main Police Department, and Mahira Karimova, the resident of Nasimi district thanked Oruj Amiraslanov, Head of the Nasimi DPD Investigation Department and Babak Rustamov, the inspector, for taking relevant actions in connection with compensation of property damage.

Moreover, Malahat Kazimova, Sabail district resident, expressed gratitude to Namig Gojayev, Head of the Sabail DPD Investigation Department for the legal assistance provided to her and for restoration of her rights; Fuad Jamilov, expressed satisfaction about the work of police employees for effective result of the investigation conducted in connection with the fact of stealing of his “VAZ-21011” brand car by unknown persons in the Mukhtarov settlement of Sabunchu district.
