INFORMATION ON BAKU CITY MAIN POLICE DEPARTMENT

On April 28 Baku city Main Police Department took extensive measures with territorial police bodies in order to maintain high level of public order and security, to prevent and solve the crimes, as well as to provide road traffic safety.

As a consequence of investigative measures 11 people have been arrested on committing of various crimes, while 30 wanted persons have been detained. In addition, relevant actions have been taken against 151 citizens on engaging with street trading, 54 persons on begging and wandering. Along with the fact that 1730 persons who breached passport regime have been determined, appropriate measures have been carried out on the issues such as hooliganism, anti-sanitary conditions, implementation of illegal construction.

In the provision of road traffic safety within the extensive measures State Traffic Police Officers have drawn up the protocol of administrative offence about 1700 people on the violation of the traffic rules, including 161 drivers on gross violations. 13 cars have been taken to the temporary parking due to the installation of multi-tone horn system, loud exhaust system, gleaming lights, curtains, films and other accessories forbidden by law, while 139 vehicles have been determined on unpaid penalty fees. As well, relevant measures have been applied to 20 drivers on drunk driving, 991 drivers on violating parking rules, 1 auto hooligan, and 854 pedestrians on crossing of the road by violating traffic rules.

Relevant measures are continued to be taken on rendering and execution of service, complying with law, and its control.
