The delegation led by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Police Major General Janat Suleymanov paid an official visit to our country with the invitation of the First Deputy Minister of the Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Police Lieutenant-General Vilayat Eyvazov.

On October 19, the First Deputy Minister Vilayat Eyvazov received the delegation led by his Kazakh colleague. Greeting the guests V.Eyvazov noted that the cooperation and effective collaboration are strengthened in accordance with the strategy defined by both heads of the state, as well as friendship and business relationships between the ministers of internal affairs – Ramil Usubov and Kalmukhanbet Kassymov.

He emphasized that bilateral relations, especially joint efforts in the field of fight against transnational organized crime, exchange of experience and information, and established normative-legal base primarily serve the interest of our nations and states, as well as the provision of security in the region.

During the conversation, the guests were informed about the problems we faced in the early years of independence, the occupation of our lands, the reforms in all spheres of the society and in internal affairs bodies and new laws adopted after great leader Heydar Aliyev’s return to the power, establishing the stability and ensuring its irreversibility, fight against crime and measures taken in the field of public order, as well as existing problems were mentioned.  
Police Major General Janat Suleymanov thanked for the warm reception, high hospitality and detailed information, expressed his satisfaction with the condition of secure live and work created for foreigners along with the citizens of Azerbaijan, and noted the interest of the organization led by him on further expansion of the cooperation, selfless effort in this direction and confidence that the visit will serve this purpose.

Comprehensive exchange of ideas on other issues of mutual interest was conducted.
Delegation of MIA of the Republic of Kazakhstan was received by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Ramil Usubov.
Kazakh guests will be closely acquainted with the activities of “102 – Call Center” and “Safe City” services, and Main Police Department of Baku city.
