The grounds were established for suspicion that Aysel Mammadova, born in 1998, was hit and run down with a “Daewoo BS 090” bus with the license plate 90-TH-257 owned by "General Avtocompany" LLC, driven by Zaur Guliyev on route 131 in the Sabunchu district, at about 11:30 am on October 19, while passing pedestrian crossing, after the bus stopped on the right side of the road, put down the passengers and reversed.

According to the joint information of Baku City Main Police Department and Prosecutor's Office, the criminal case was started on the fact in accordance with Article 263.2 of the Criminal Code (in case infringement of rules of traffic and operation of vehicles causes the death of a victim), necessary examinations were designated and witnesses were questioned in Investigation Department of the Police Office of Sabunchu district. Z.Guliyev was arraigned as accused person on the criminal case, imputed through the mentioned article of the Criminal Code and arrest warrant was issued according to the decision of the trial.

Investigations were initiated on the officials of “General Avtocompany” LLC that gave opportunity to the driver for the passenger transportation at the investigation department of Baku City Prosecutor's Office because during the investigation it was determined that the driver was on drugs.
At present appropriate investigative measures are being taken on the criminal case.
