A meeting with the police of the future was held

An event on educating students about their professional skills, forming the sense of loyalty to the state, statehood, oath, duty, and strictly adhering to discipline and law was held in the Police Academy of the MIA.

According to the information given by the Press Service of the MIA, the event was attended by the Chairman of the Veterans Council of the MIA, the retired Police Colonel Farhad Suleymanov, the Chairman of the Veterans Council of Baku City Main Police Department, the retired Lieutenant Colonel Emin Mammadov, the teacher-command staff of the Academy and the students admitted this year.

The Chairman of the Veterans Council of the MIA F.Suleymanov stated in his speech that the youth policy carried out in Azerbaijan, attention and care towards youth is based on nurturing worthy citizens and healthy generation.

It was noted that Azerbaijan, which has entered the third decade of its independence, needs only patriotic youth with national consciousness and the youth policy of the independent Azerbaijan founded by the national leader serves exclusively this purpose. This educational institution, which develops with the support of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, experiences progress and improvement thanks to the special attention and demandiness of the management of the state and the MIA. Extensive renovation and construction works done at the Academy, as well as the construction of new academic building, additional training and study rooms, mobilizing all the opportunities in this direction are pleasing. It is the result of the conditions created that the representatives of the Academy achieve success in republican and international level of knowledge and sports competitions.

The Chairman of the Veterans Council of Baku City Main Police Department, Lieutenant Colonel Emin Mammadov noted that today, along with other law enforcement agencies, the Azerbaijani Police is also responsible for restoration of stability, peace and fight against crime in the state. The speaker reminded martyrising, disabling of hundreds of our policemen among those who fought against Armenian aggression in the early years of our independence and supported the Motherland, and told that, today, the police responsibly, confidently serve the state, the people as well.

Later, the Senior Assistant Chief of the Police Academy, Police Lieutenant Colonel Osman Valiyev noted that the measures taken in the field of work with youth give an impetus to the further development of the Azerbaijani youth and create conditions for their approval in the society. Noting that as a result of this attention and care, 100 people have scored 600 points and 24 people - more than 650 points out of the people admitted to the Academy in the current year, O.Valiyev expressed his confidence that they would achieve higher results in education and training in the upcoming years.
