Next meeting of the heads of the staff offices of the ministries of internal affairs of the states of the Commonwealth of Independent States started on November 14, in Baku.

First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Police Lieutenant General Vilayat Eyvazov opened the event with his entry word and welcomed the guests on behalf of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Ramil Usubov and wished success in the meeting. He stated that this forum aimed at the solution of important tasks in the field of personnel management is of great importance in terms of further expansion of cooperation.

The First Deputy Minister underlined that special attention is paid to improvement of operational and service activity of internal affairs bodies, strengthening of material and technical support, further strengthening of social protection of the personal staff and legislative acts regulating service, work with the staff and necessary duty instructions have been adopted within the framework of the law enforcement policy implemented in our state. He noted that systematic measures have been taken to improve the professionalism of the personnel, increase their moral and psychological status, and stressed that the cooperation of the relevant heads of service of the ministries of internal affairs of the states of the Commonwealth of Independent States successfully continues for more than twenty years, professional staff corps has been formed, positive experience has been obtained and used efficiently in the field of strengthening of this potential, as well as expressed confidence that this meeting would be another step towards achieving the defined goals.

During the course of the two-day event, the heads of the delegations will be listened to, discussions will be held and a relevant document will be signed at the end of the meeting.
