Resolute actions are continued by the bodies of internal affairs in the direction of exposing and bringing to justice the people who occupy with illegal trafficking and sale of drugs and psychoactive substances.
As such, resident of the capital Jeyhun Mammadov was detained because of being suspected in sales of drugs as a result of operation conducted by the employees of Khatai District Police Department on the basis of the information given. About 34 packages of about 15 gram heroin as well as 2 packages of psychoactive substance methamphetamine packed for the sale were detected and taken while conducting personal investigation on him.

As being the continuation of operative actions, 445 gram heroin, 47,666 gram methamphetamine, 1,709 gram marihuana and electronic scales were detected and taken while reviewing the rented house where J.Mammadov lived in Khatai districts, as well. The detained person noted that he bought the drugs at amount of 10000 manats from a person named Zaur to sell.
This person-resident of Jalilabad region Zaur Mammadov was detained in the Garadagh district and investigated as a result of the operation conducted the employees of the Department. 525 gram drug- heroin,  50,125 gram opium and 31,020 gram  methamphetamine were detected and taken while conducting personal investigation on him.
Criminal suit has been filed by the relevant article of Criminal Code in the Investigation Branch of Khatai District Police Department on the fact and the operational actions are being taken.
