In connection with the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis and the New Year from December 29, 2018 to January 3, 2019, the staff of the internal affairs authorities of the republic will work under no timeline.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov issued a corresponding decree in this relation.

According to the decree, in connection with December 31 - International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis and the New Year - on the eve of holidays and on holidays, all staff of authorities and departments of the Ministry will carry out their work activities in robust security regime in order to ensure better and more reliable protection of public order and security.
The number of police guards will be increased in crowded places and in places of mass celebrations.
All forces and means will be mobilized in order to ensure public order and road safety on the territory of the republic, as well as on the highways. On the eve of holidays and on holidays, the protection of important life-support objects, as well as diplomatic missions of foreign states, will be strengthened.
