As a result of intelligence operations carried out by officers of the 6th police station of the Binagadi DPD, main police department of Ganja city, police station of Tovuz region and police station of Gusar region, on January 6, was detained a person suspected in the theft of the car Vaz-2106, the resident of Goygol region, previously convicted Farman Abdullayev.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the course of the investigation it's been found that F.Abdullayev secured the state license plate of his car of the same brand on the stolen car, handed over the stolen car in Ganja to his friend, previously convicted resident of Ganja Elnur Guliyev, threw out the state registration plates on the territory of Kurdamir region, and Elnur Guliyev sold this car to the previously convicted resident of Tovuz region Isa Aliyev.

E. Guliyev was detained on the territory of Gusar region, and I. Aliyev – on the territory of Tovuz region. The stolen car "VAZ-2106" was found in the courtyard of I. Aliyev's house in a disassembled state with erased VIN code and chassis number.
