A resident of Baku, A.Ismaylov, addressed the Call Centre 102 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and said that on January 25 this year a resident of the capital L.Aliyeva deceived him and assigned USD 43,000.
According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Police Department of Sabail District conducted an investigation. A criminal case has been initiated upon the fact under Article 178 of the Criminal Code (fraud).
L.Aliyeva was detained by police officers in the course of operational search activities. It has been established that in March this year she deceived another resident of Baku and misappropriated 4,000 manats.
The investigation is underway.
