In connection with the holding in Baku of the European Youthful Olympic Festival "Baku 2019", until July 28, it is planned to hold a number of activities aimed at ensuring traffic safety on the streets and avenues of the capital.
During the festival, the traffic police will increase control over the area where the competitions will be organized, working in an enhanced mode.
The yellow lanes on the roads with special symbols to ensure convenient and safe events cover some streets and avenues that are included in the administrative territory of the capital, which must be taken into account by car owners and drivers.
Taking into account the positive impact of the use of yellow lanes on the movement of vehicles during past sporting events, we want to note that drivers must create conditions for the safe movement of festival participants along these lanes.
Recall that the movement of other vehicles in the yellow lanes can provide a legal basis for bringing car owners and drivers to administrative responsibility. Therefore, drivers are advised not to move in these lanes.
For example, yellow automobile lanes with special designations on the capital streets and avenues of Ziya Bunyadova, G.Garayev, Neftchilar, Ataturk, G.Alasgarova, Azadlig, Z.Aliyeva, Tbilisi, U.Hajibeyov, R.Ismaylova, etc. were taken under full control by cameras.
Drivers and car owners are advised to use public transport to avoid artificial congestion on the roads, given the importance of this event.
