Persons who raided a house rented by Arabs in Baku were detained. The incident was recorded on August 5 in the Sabail region.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a raid was made on an apartment where two tourists from Saudi Arabia lived. Four unknowns, who saw that the apartment’s door was not locked, entered the house, threatened the Arabs and robbed them taking 1,700 manat and 5 mobile phones. Then they tied their hands and left.

As soon as the incident was reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police officers started operational-search measures. On August 7, four people, including 1 woman, were detained on suspicion of committing a crime as a result of operational-search measures conducted by employees of the Main Department of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Baku city Main Police Department and the Sabail District Police Department.

Currently, an investigation is underway, the necessary operational investigative measures are being carried out.
