A woman was robbed on the territory of the Sabail district. During the incident in Bayil settlement, an unknown man stole a bag from woman who is a resident of the capital.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of an operation carried out by employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Sabail District Police Department, Bahruz Muradov, a resident of the Sabunchu district, was arrested on suspicion of committing this incident. During his arrest, heroin and marijuana drugs were also found on him, which he acquired for personal use. It should be noted that during the incident B. Muradov watched as the victim withdrew money from an ATM, and stole her wallet, which contained more than 300 manat.

During additional operational activities around the detainee, it was revealed that in Bayil settlement he also stole 2,000 manats from the car, the door of which was left open, and two telephones from the apartment.

In his testimony, B. Muradov also admitted that for some time he worked in parking lots located in different parts of the capital and stole the money that drivers gave him to exchange.

According to the facts, a criminal proceedings have been instituted in the Investigative Department of the Sabail DPD. If there are other citizens affected by the actions of Bahruz Muradov, they can report this to the territorial police departments and divisions, as well as to the Call Center “102” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
