People driving their private vehicles without special permissions are checked

07.04.2020

The special quarantine regime introduced in our country is intended to protect the health of the population and ensure the country's security.

As part of the measures conducted to prevent the widespread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the government asks people to stay home, in the places of their permanent or temporary residence.

People leaving their homes without permission, as well as drivers and passengers of vehicles are checked in the capital. Measures continue to be taken in accordance with the law in respect of people with no appropriate permission.

In order to minimize close contacts of people, thus reducing the spread of infection, the period of special regime on the country territory was strengthened from March 31 to April 20. It is allowed to leave homes only to get emergency medical service, in case of immediate danger to life and health, to visit authorized retail and public service facilities, to discharge household waste, to perform official duties in organizations operating during the special regime.
