People who stole bicycles from citizens were detained in Binagadi district. As a result of the operation carried out by employees of the 5th Police Division of the District Police Department, a previously convicted resident of Goychay region, Elbrus Mammadov, was detained.

According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the investigation it was found that he stole 7 bicycles stored in the corridors and utility rooms of buildings. Elbrus Mammadov sold the stolen bicycles to Fuad Ahmadov, a resident of Sabuncu district. During the inspection of Fuad Ahmadov's house, located in Mashtaga settlement, police officers found 6 stolen bicycles and seized them as evidence. Another stolen bicycle was sold by Fuad Ahmadov to a capital resident Rahim Karimov.

Materials collected on the fact in the 5th Police Division were transferred to the Investigation Division of the Binagadi District Police Department for further investigation. Operational-search and investigative actions are continuing in relation to the detainees.
