The police conducted another operation to identify people involved in the sale of drugs in Binagadi settlement.

Employees of the 43rd Police Division of Binagadi District Police Department conducted another operation to identify people involved in illegal trafficking and sale of narcotic drugs in Binagadi settlement. During the operation, previously convicted residents of Binagadi settlement, Rovshan Asadzade and Kamil Guliyev, were detained for selling drugs.

According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during a personal inspection, a total weight of 274 grams of the narcotic substance heroin and the psychotropic substance methamphetamine were found and seized. During the investigation, it was established that Rovshan Asadzade was wanted by the Absheron District Police Department under article 234.2 (illegal acquisition or possession of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale, manufacture, processing, transportation, or illegal sale of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances) of the Criminal Code.

In their statements, the detainees admitted that they were engaged in the sale of narcotic substances.

The materials collected on the fact in the 43 Police Division were sent to the Investigation Division of the Binagadi District Police Department. The investigation is ongoing.
