People who endangered the health of others were prosecuted

A number of measures were taken by the officers of internal affairs’ bodies to prevent the spread of “Covid-19” virus during the special quarantine regime applied in the country, prevention of violations of the anti-epidemic regime and sanitary-hygienic rules by citizens was kept under strict control.

According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the necessary measures were taken by reacting immediately to the information received from the TABIB, observance of the established rules by people infected with the Covid-19 virus and treated at home, not to endanger the infection of others by their actions were kept in the spotlight.

On July of only this year, it was found that 10 people infected with the coronavirus and treated at home left their homes and went outside and endangered the health of others, as a result of measures taken by Binagadi, Sabail, Sabunchu, Khatai districts of the capital, as well as Sumgayit, Mingachevir, Jalilabad, Yevlakh, Goychay cities, and district police authorities.

By the measures taken, those people were immediately isolated and a criminal case was launched against them under Article 139-1.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan for posing a real threat to the spread of the virus by violating the rules of a special quarantine regime.

In this regard, the measures are underway.
