The next inspection was conducted against the people not complying with quarantine rules in the capital city.

Officers of Internal Affairs’ bodies continue to tirelessly serve in the rear in the fight with invisible enemy - coronavirus, under the conditions of military situation declared in the country.

Thus, within the rules of the special quarantine regime, declared to prevent the spread of infection on the country territory and its possible consequences, police officers regularly carry out control and preventive measures. Compliance with the requirements of the sanitary quarantine rules is constantly monitored by the employees involved. In closed premises, public transport, as well as in the subway and public catering facilities, police officers conduct preventive conversations with citizens, give constant recommendations to comply with sanitary and epidemiological standards, meet social distance, and wear a medical mask.

For this purpose, while conducting constant inspections in the capital city, people who do not keep social distance, use personal protective equipment are held administratively liable according to the law. During the measures, the police also distributed notices to citizens on the importance of complying with quarantine rules.
Police officers will regularly continue monitoring to ensure the quarantine rules in the capital city, including other districts and cities.

It should be noted that in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection in the country and its possible consequences, the period of the special quarantine regime in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan was extended until 06:00 on November 2, 2020.
