A number of measures are carried out by the police officers of the Internal Affairs Bodies to prevent the spread of “Covid-19” cases during the special quarantine regime applied in the country; prevention of violations of the anti-epidemic regime and sanitary-hygienic rules by citizens is kept under control.

In this regard a criminal case was initiated against active COVID-19 carrier who left his place of residence illegally in Khazar district.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, coronavirus patient Simran Aliyev, a resident of Lerik district, but actually living in Bina settlement, who has been treated at home, was detained as a result of relevant search activities carried out by the employees of the 3th Police Unit of the Khazar District Police Department.

During the investigation it was found that the person who is active carrier of COVID-19 left his place of residence by grossly violating the quarantine rules. S. Aliyev was returned to his home followed by medical procedures. Materials collected about him were sent to the Investigation Department of Khazar DPD. A criminal case has been launched against S.Aliyev under Article 139-1 (violation of anti-epidemic, sanitary-hygienic or quarantine regimes) of the Criminal Code.
