Joint information of Prosecutor General’s Office and Ministry of Internal Affairs

As a result of received information and conducted inspections, it was found that several more healthcare facilities placed information on some citizens in “e-TABIB” electronic registration system without going through the vaccination process in exchange for money and provided such people with fake COVID-19 passports as if they were vaccinated.
During the first operation, it was found that U.Abbasova, S.Allahverdiyeva and F.Nahmatova, nurses of the United City Hospital No.29 located in Khazar district Bina settlement, A.Huseynova and S.Dadashzada computer receptionists of that facility and Elnur Aliyev, employee of City Polyclinic No.33 located in Sabail district jointly received 300 AZN from citizens and provided them with fake documents stating their vaccination even without visiting the hospital. They were found to receive money from many citizens likewise and include them in the list of vaccinated persons in “e-TABIB” electronic registration system, however they were not vaccinated.
An analogical case was found out in the United City Hospital No.7 located in Sabunchu district Mashtagha settlement and City Polyclinic No.3 located in Yasamal district. It was determined that S.Mahmudova and A.Baghirova working as nurses in those healthcare facilities included fake information on individual citizens in “e-TABIB” electronic registration system in exchange for 50-100 AZN for each vaccine dose as if they were vaccinated. Hereby citizens were provided with fake documents stating their vaccination without going through vaccination process by nurses that they gave money.
Investigations are being conducted about mentioned facts in Main Department for Investigation and Inquest of Main Department for Organized Crime under the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Operative-search measures are being implemented for determination of circumstances vital for the case and identification of other persons involved in mentioned legal violations in any way.
Prosecutor General’s Office and Ministry of Internal Affairs appeal to citizens again and ask them to be vaccinated against coronavirus and to inform about cases of providing citizens with fake documents related to COVID-19 test results via 102 Service - Call Center, 961 Call Center, 161 Hotline, as well as social media pages of the Prosecutor General’s Office and Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Note that strict control measures will be furthermore continued resolutely for illegal interventions to vaccination process conducted against coronavirus pandemic in our country by officers of the Prosecutor General’s Office and Ministry of Internal Affairs as provided by law.
