Chief of the Baku Police Department, police Major-General İsmayılov Akbar Majid
He was born in 1963 in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia. In 1988, he graduated from Vladimir Special Secondary Police School, and in 1997, he graduated from the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He began to work in the internal affairs bodies from 1985 and held various responsible positions during this period.
He started to serve in the internal affairs bodies from 1985 and held various responsible positions in the operational service during this period. In particular, in 2005-2020, he served as the chief of the 16th PD of Baku city Narimanov DPD and the deputy chief on operational work of the same Department, the chief of Sumgayit CPD, the chief of Khatai and Yasamal DPDs, the chief of Ganja city MPD.
In November 2020, he was appointed chief of Baku City MPD.
He was awarded the medal “For Courage” by the order No. 1610, dated July 01, 2011 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the medal “For the Motherland” by the order No. 602 dated July 01, 2020 for his excellence in the fight against crime, protection of public order, ensuring public safety during mass events of international importance and the performance of special tasks.
By the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 2, 2021, he was awarded the special rank of Major General of Police.
He is married and has 3 children.
Deputy chief of operations of the Baku city Main police Department, police Major-General Alakbarov Vugar Hidayat
In 2004-2009, he was a teacher at the “Theory of State and Law” department of the Police Academy, in 2009-2014, he was the head of the division and department at the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime, in 2014-2020, he served as the head of the Organizational-Inspection Department of the Baku City MPD.
In June 2020, he was appointed the deputy chief of the Baku City MPD, and in December – the deputy chief of operations.
On July 1, 2013, he was awarded the medal “For Courage” by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his distinction in the fight against crime, protection of public order and the performance of special tasks.
By the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 01, 2022, he was given the special rank of police major general.
He is married and has 2 children.
Родился в 1980 году в городе Сальян. В 2001 году окончил Азербайджанскую государственную нефтяную академию, а в 2021 году — Полицейскую академию Министерства внутренних дел. С 2002 года служит в органах внутренних дел, за это время занимал различные ответственные должности.
В 2002–2013 годах служил во Внутренних войсках МВД командиром взвода, роты и отряда специального назначения. В 2013–2022 годах — заместителем командира батальона специального назначения Отдельного полка полиции быстрого реагирования МВД, затем первым заместителем командира и начальником штаба того же полка. В 2022–2024 годах занимал должность начальника Управления общественной безопасности Главного управления полиции города Баку.
Согласно приказу МВД от 19.07.2024 года, назначен на должность заместителя начальника Главного управления полиции города Баку по службе.
За высокий профессионализм, проявленный при выполнении служебных обязанностей в борьбе с преступностью, охране общественного порядка и обеспечении общественной безопасности, был удостоен различных наград.
Указом Президента Азербайджанской Республики от 11 марта 2012 года № 788 награжден медалью «За военные заслуги», указом от 1 июля 2020 года № 2136 — медалью «За Родину».
Указом Президента Азербайджанской Республики от 1 июля 2025 года ему присвоено специальное звание генерал-майора полиции.
Женат, воспитывает троих детей.
Born in 1980 in Salyan. In 2001, he graduated from the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, and in 2021, from the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Since 2002, he has been serving in the internal affairs bodies, holding various responsible positions over the years.
From 2002 to 2013, he served in the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as commander of a special-purpose platoon, company, and detachment. From 2013 to 2022, he served as Deputy Commander of a Special-Purpose Battalion of the Separate Rapid Response Police Regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and later as First Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the same regiment. From 2022 to 2024, he held the position of Head of the Public Security Unit of the Baku city Main Police Department.
By the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated July 19, 2024, he was appointed Deputy Chief for Service of the Baku city Main Police Department.
For his high professionalism performing his official duties in combating crime, maintaining public order, and ensuring public safety, he has been awarded various honors.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 788 dated March 11, 2012, he was awarded the "For Military Service" medal, as well as the "For the Homeland" medal by Decree No. 2136 dated July 1, 2020.
By the Presidential Decree dated July 1, 2025, he was granted the special rank of Police Major General.
He is married and has three children.
Deputy Head of the Baku City Police Department, Police Colonel Mammadov Eldaniz Kazim
He graduated from Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University in 1999, Moscow State Social University in 2001, and Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 2005.
He began working in the internal affairs bodies since 2000 and held various responsible roles during this period.
He was the head of the Commandant's Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from the year 2010 to 2020
In 2020-2023, he worked as the Deputy Head of the Main Department of Public Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
By order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated March 3, 2023, he was appointed deputy head of the Baku City Main Police Department.
By order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 2912 dated July 7, 2008, he was awarded the medals “For Courage” for the performance of his official duties and “For the Fatherland” on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Police, by order No. 263 dated July 3, 2018.
He is married and has 2 children.
