Preventive measures are continued

On the basis of decisions made by the respective district courts of the capital, 8 drivers were arrested for failing to obey the police demands, creating a real threat to the lives of other road users, ruffian conduct at the road, driving while intoxicated in Baku. 3 of them are accused for disobeying a lawful request of the police to stop, 5 of them - for ruffian conduct and driving while intoxicated.

8 people, arrested by the officers of the State Traffic Police of Main Police Department of Baku city on the roads of the capital, were sentenced to administrative arrest for the period of 10 to 40 days.

Head of Public Relations of MTPD MPD Police Colonel Vagif Asadov held a preventive conversation with the arrested persons at the meeting, held at the Place of detention of persons arrested in the administrative order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It was reported that the work of traffic police is directly aimed at the safety of road users. A sense of responsibility for the organization of the foundations of this activity is related to the future of not just one person, but also a considerable mass of society.

Therefore, discipline and responsibilities of road users are in the spotlight. Rules of conduct at the wheel should be followed more closely. It was stressed that for the first 9 months of 2015, on the basis of decisions taken by the respective district courts, 522 drivers were sentenced to administrative responsibility and arrested for ruffian conduct at the wheel and disobeying a lawful request of the police to stop.

Among arrested there were also drivers who have called on the social networks the young drivers to ruffian actions in the central streets of the capital. Inspired by the widespread information in social networks, a resident of Baku city, 24-year-old Orkhan Pashayev, joining this call in his car brand "Seat" was engaged in ruffian actions in the territory of Sabail district, for which he was stopped by traffic police.

Among arrested by an administrative procedure there were such people who drive a car without a license. One of them - a resident of Gabala, 36-year-old Rahim Karimov said that for several years, he is driving car without a license. Due to the lack of documentation, he did not obey the lawful order of the traffic police to stop and committed acts of ruffian nature.

The drunken father of 3 children, 25-year-old resident of Sabunchi district Anar Bagirov who made an accident on the car "Moskvich", according to the relevant decision of the court, was arrested.
