The minister of Internal Affairs firstly visited the statue of national leader Heydar Aliyev in Shirvan city and paid tribute to his dear memory and laid flowers before him.
Then the minister listened to the appeals of 93 citizens from Shirvan, Sabirabad, Salyan, Neftchala, Hajigabul, Bilasuvar, Jabrayil, Imishli, Zardab and Saatli districts in the administrative building of the City Police Department and gave instructions to the heads of the relevant main departments and departments of the Ministry to solve their problems.
Most of the appeals were resolved on the spot.
The citizens who came to the reception thanked the president for the prompt approach to their applications and appeals, as well as for the attention and sensitive attitude.
As part of his visit to the region, Colonel-General V.Eyvazov conducted a queue inspection of the admission to the positions of ordinary and junior chief staff who were vacant at police stations.
Young people living in Shirvan city and surrounding regions, wishing to serve in the police authorities took part in the queue inspection.
95 people who met the conditions of admission to the service were admitted to the next stage of the selection round, 18 of them were participants of the Patriotic War and one of them was members of the families of martyrs.
Then Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General V.Eyvazov held an operational meeting with the police chiefs of the mentioned cities and regions and demanded from them further strengthening of public order and security in the region, objective consideration of citizens’ appeals and proper organization of reception.
