According to the task of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov held the next reception of citizens at the Sheki City-District Police Department on August 25.
Before the reception, the Minister of Internal Affairs visited the statue of national leader Heydar Aliyev in Sheki city, paid tribute to his dear memory and laid flowers before him

Then the minister listened to the appeals of 162 citizens from Shaki, Balakan, Gakh, Oghuz, Zakatala and Gabala cities and districts in the administrative building of the City-District Police Department and gave instructions to the heads of the relevant main departments and departments of the Ministry to solve their problems.
Most of the appeals were resolved on the spot.

The citizens who came to the reception thanked the president for the prompt approach to their applications and appeals, as well as for the attention and sensitive attitude.

As part of his visit to the region, Colonel-General V.Eyvazov conducted a queue inspection of the admission to the positions of ordinary and junior chief staff who were vacant at police stations.    
Young people living in Shaki city and surrounding regions, wishing to serve in the police authorities took part in the queue inspection.

87 people who met the conditions of admission to the service were admitted to the next stage of the selection round, 23 of them were participants of the Patriotic War and 2 of them was members of the families of martyrs.
