Plans of actions were confirmed for snow and ice clearing on 30 routes having up-and-down and sharp bends in the roads of Baku and the agreement was obtained on joint action together with Baku City Executive Power (BCEP).

According to the information given by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads, the order was signed with the purpose of timely completing preparatory work of production bases and administrative buildings of automobile roads, bridges, road facilities within the agency, as well as subordinate LLCs for autumn-winter of 2018-2019. Headquarters were established and daily charge was organized in the central staff of the Agency, offices and enterprises serving for automobile roads of our republic, as well as roads and road facilities of Baku to ensure preparation for autumn-winter of 2018-2019, normal use of automobile roads and road facilities in autumn-winter, continuous movement and its security by this order.

Plans of actions were confirmed for preparation of automobile roads where LLCs serve for autumn-winter of 2018-2019 and snow and ice clearing on the 30 routes having up-and-down and sharp bends in the roads of Baku in autumn-winter of 2018-2019 (for all suburban settlements by beginning from Boyukshor joint by State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads and on inner-city automobile roads by BCEP) and agreement was obtained on joint action between parties.

257 machine-mechanisms (21 autograders, 34 forklifts, 131 dump truck, 16 sand sowing trucks, 6 snow loaders, 19 excavators, 22 road sweeping machines, 14 water trucks) were restored to service in winter of 2018-2019 in Baku, combustibles and lubricants reserves were set up and antiskid chains - bought. 700 machine-mechanisms were made ready for service in the automobile roads of our republic.
Also works on collection of sand and technical salt reserves at the amount required for the season were conducted. Reserves consisting of sand and salt mixture regarded to sow to areas with big slope and sharp bends were collected. 1890 ton salt reserve was set up with the purpose of struggle against ice just in the roads of Baku and totally 1 100 people are planned to involve to this work.
At the same time, ensuring employees working on the roads in winter with warm clothes, shoes and other necessary items and establishment of heating points were organized.

Works on repair of broken parts of bridges regulations and cleanup of watercourse where bridges are located, review of technical state of road signs and facilities and signal columns, elimination of current defects, as well as current repair of automobile roads, fortifying the road shoulders and cleanup of input-output parts of waterspout and ditches were conducted by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads with the purpose of preparation for autumn-winter.
