According to the Ministry of the Internal Affairs, it is continuing to take measures to seize drug crops grown by cultivation.

According to information received, Bayram Novruzov, a resident of the Mashtaga settlement, was detained as a result of operational search activities carried out by officers of the Sabunchu district police department, on suspicion of cultivating and selling narcotic drugs. During his personal search, 5972 grams of marijuana were found and seized.

As a continuation of the operation, during inspection of B. Novruzov’s house, 1 kilogram 155 grams of heroin, 29 kilograms of 630 grams of marijuana, packaged and ready for sale, 2 kilograms 550 grams of hemp seeds, 2 f electronic scales, and 4031 hemp bushes, were also seized grown in special containers through cultivation in an unfinished house, as well as 535 grams of marijuana were seized from the Hyundai brand car. The detainee said that he planted drug crops with the help of his relative Kamil and, after drying, organized the sale with his help.

Employees of the department also detained this man, a resident of the capital, previously convicted Kamil Novruzov. When inspecting his Mercedes-Benz G-class car, 515 grams of marijuana and electronic scales were found. During the trial, it was established that K. Novruzov handed a relative of cannabis seeds containing the drug for planting. During the investigation, it turned out that K. Novruzov was selling drugs in the capital, as well as in other regions of the republic under the name "Dayi".
