Police officers of the Binagadi District Police Department and the 43rd Police Department held a joint operation against people involved in drug trafficking and sale in various points of the Binagadi district.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during a complex operation, a resident of the Imishli region Farahim Azizov, residents of the capital Elchin Soltanov, Rashayig Sheydayev and Gudrat Islamov, involved in the sale of drugs, were detained.

During a personal search, heroin in excess of the amount for personal consumption was seized from them. The detainees admitted in their testimony that they were involved in drug trafficking.

Materials collected in fact at the 43rd Police Station were sent to the investigative department of the Binagadi District Police Department, and the investigation is ongoing.
