Implementation of modern information technologies in the prophylaxis and exposure of crimes is of great importance. Operators of the “Safe City” service of the Main Department and territorial police authorities have detected 4,334 incidents. This has been stated at the broad operational conference dedicated to the outcomes of the works carried out for the fight against crime and provision of public safety in the 9 months of the current year and the upcoming tasks at Baku City Main Police Department on October 27.
 
Indicators once again confirm that 219 hidden crimes have been exposed using archival footages of the existing cameras. Additionally, 52 groups who committed 57 robbery and thuggery crimes, as well as 39 criminal groups consisting of 90 people suspected of 80 apartment theft have been exposed.
