In recent days, the number of people creating and managing unauthorized and false pages, channels and profiles on social networks using the name and logo of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has grown. According to the information given by the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, creation and management of such profiles is unacceptable and creates responsibility in accordance with the law.
 
In those pages and profiles, distorted, false information about the police action is posted, and wrong answers to the questions addressed by the citizens are written. Therefore, we recommend that social network audience do not use fake pages and profiles.
 
It would be important to remind once again for details that the official pages of the Ministry of Internal Affairs created in the social networks in order to further expand public relations, improve police-citizen and police-media relations have been functioning for about 2 years.
