A person trying to exchange the counterfeit money was caught red-handed due to the vigilance and agility of the police officers.
According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a person who wanted to exchange 3 units of 100 counterfeit manats at the branch of one of the banks in the Yasamal district was detained by employees of the Yasamal District Security Department, in charge in the bank, on December 24.
The person, who was handed over to the Police Department No. 27, was identified as Baku resident Subhan Ahadov.
The investigation is going on.
